ECB's Mersch: Price stability is the only primary objective

Yves Mersch, Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank (ECB), commenting at a legal conference on financial stability in Frankfurt, was noted saying that price stability is the central bank's only primary objective, over financial stability.

His comments had nothing particular of note with regards to ECB's monetary policy stance and thus, had a rather muted market reaction.
